soveraine:
Here’s something about gays: I like them. I like them too much, it hurts to be a girl.
I like them vivacious, flamboyant and witty. I like them drag, beautiful and sexy. I like them out, loud and proud. I like them discreet, pseudo-closet and handsome. I like them subtle, admirable and caring. I like them manly, dominating and protective. Heck, I like them whatever form or shape they take.
Now, here’s another thing about gays: I want them. I want them because they are my own Supermen trapped in the wonderful body of Wonder Woman and sometimes, even better, in the drop dead gorgeous frame of Captain America.
I want them because they are, still and always be, men. Maintaining a good and close alliance with them is like hitting two birds with a single stone, you get the fashion advice with the words of a supposedly potential boyfriend with the taste of your favorite girl best friend, or such, I know you get the picture. It’s a Hannah Montanna kind of relationship, you get the best of both worlds.
Now, here’s one last thing about gays: I love them.
They are one of the most genuine people in this universe, the kind of “boys” who will not tell you what you want to hear just so they could get in your pants. They are not THAT superficial, they tell you straight to the point, and in your face, how ugly you look during your most stressed days, how your shoe goes so amazingly bad with your top, or how you’ve gone waaaaay beyond the border of flirtationship with that cute classmate of yours in your writing class. They also tend to become over defensive about your welfare, in a sensitive manner. Also, it counts that they know the answer to the million dollar question, “Am I fat?”
Don’t we, all, just love them?
And all of that is just the tip of the iceberg! And tell you what, I might not get to the bottom of it even if I try to analyze why I feel what I feel for them.. and I’m quite sure they wouldn’t like me (or even let me) in the bottom either! So why I like, want and love gays will always be a bottomless pit of happiness I’ve got to live for the rest of my life!
